Welcome Message
On behalf of the 24th Annual Congress of the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, it is my great pleasure as the ESVCP Chairman to write this Welcome message and invite you to be the part of this Congress which is to be held in Belgrade, Serbia during October 5 – 8th 2022.
Conferences like this rush to the breach to selflessly fill in the gap. They allow us, who are in the front lines of this impending doom to regroup, exchange ideas and be exposed to the cutting-edge research. We feel that we are not alone in our predicament and this occasion gives us the strength to preserve.
The aim of this conference is to bring together clinical pathologists and scientists to discuss and share views on innovations in clinical pathology and how to apply those in our everyday practice towards the goal of improving animals’ welfare and as well as our community.
Welcome and best wishes, I look forward to meeting you all in Belgrade in October 2022!
Cordially,
Strahinja Medić
Congress Chairman
About Belgrade
Belgrade is the capital of Serbia located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. With a 7,000 year history, Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The first urban settlement was built here in the 3rd century BC by the Celts.
During your stay make sure to visit the Kalemegdan Fortress overlooking the Danube and Sava rivers, to have our traditional dinner with rakija (local brandy) at the Bohemian quarter of Skadarlija, make an early morning run around Ada Lake Resort – one of Europe`s top ten city islands (Virtual Tourist), enjoy coffee and fancy food in our industrial design district, or just relax and let Belgrade do the rest.
